Our Mission

Building Affordable Homes and Stronger Communities

Paradise Community Homes is a 501(c)(3) Indiana nonprofit corporation powered by grants, community support, and builder partnerships. We develop balanced communities and connect aspiring homeowners with partner builders while intentionally building at a price point other new-home providers are not currently serving, helping keep costs down for applicants.

For the first 90 days a home is offered, applicants must have lived and/or worked in Center Township or within the Corporate Limits of Valparaiso for at least one year. After that period, the home opens to other qualified applicants. There are no program income restrictions, but every buyer must be approved by a lender.

Coming next: 27 lots at Cumberland Corner.

Site clearing is now underway at Cumberland Corner. Building on the success of Kinsey Street, the upcoming community will include 27 lots, fresh designs ranging from approximately 800 to 1,200 square feet, and a variety of home types arranged as a balanced neighborhood as the property moves toward new-home construction.

This grant-powered project will bring aspiring homeowners and partner builders together to create affordable homes, strengthen the surrounding community, and serve a new-home price point that is largely unavailable today.
