For the first 90 days a home is offered, applicants must have lived and/or worked in Center Township or within the Corporate Limits of Valparaiso for at least one year. After that 90-day period, available homes open to other qualified applicants.

During the first 90 days, I qualify through at least one year of employment, or combined residence and employment, in the eligible area.

After the initial 90-day local priority period, homes open to other qualified applicants. There are no program income restrictions, but every buyer must be approved by a lender. Homes must be owner occupied; renting is prohibited. Proof and complete application materials will be required.
